New Position: Office Coordinator

Roanoke Cultural Endowment is seeking a full-time Office Coordinator. This position will play an integral role in the growth, maintenance, stewardship and cultivation of the Endowment’s donors, as well as assisting with the Endowment’s overall administrative efforts. The successful applicant will be an energetic, motivated professional with a strong work ethic. Applicants must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; have the ability to work comfortably both independently and with a variety of constituencies; be a self-starter and have a sense of humor; be proficient with current office software and have the aptitude for quickly learning other computer programs. Position located in downtown Roanoke. Salary begins at $30,000.

Internships

The Roanoke Cultural Endowment accepts rolling submissions for Fall, Spring, and Summer internships for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students. Start/end dates and hours-per-week can be tailored to fit the student’s schedule. Depending on staffing capacities, internships may be available as paid positions. Volunteer

Want to get involved? The Roanoke Cultural Endowment always welcomes new volunteers. Previously, our volunteers have assisted with:

  • Interactive/informational booths at various community engagement events, such as Roanoke Arts Pop! at the Taubman Museum, Festival in the Park in Elmwood Park, annual Juneteenth Celebration, among others throughout the year.
  • Collect audience feedback through individual surveys, such as the Americans for the Arts AEP5 Study.
  • Participate in a group themed community events, such as the Daisy Art Parade.
